Williams
Check in at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, located adjacent to the train depot, anytime after 3pm. The hotel is owned and operated by the Railway and features an indoor pool and spa, workout room, and Spenser's Lounge. Enjoy dinner at Railway's own Grand Depot Café Restaurant (adjacent to the hotel and depot) as you spend your evening in Williams. Take a stroll down Route 66, just two blocks south of the depot. Note: every room has two queen size beds and can accommodate up to 5 people per room.
Williams to Grand Canyon
Start your day with a buffet style breakfast at Grand Depot Café Restaurant. Afterwards, it's time for an old-fashioned Wild West Shootout between the Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. As you depart Williams for the Grand Canyon, you'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip.
Once you de-board at the South Rim, you'll have over three hours to explore historic Grand Canyon Village. Most of the buildings at the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel in 1905. Along the rim, you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. After your visit to the Grand Canyon, relax in the comfort of your train car as you return to Williams. Upon deboarding, walk a short distance to the Grand Depot Cafe for your second included dinner, and enjoy another comfortable evening at the Railway Hotel.
Williams to Cottonwood
Enjoy a final breakfast at Grand Depot Café, then drive yourself to Cottonwood (90 minutes).
Check into the Best Western Cottonwood Inn anytime after 3:00 pm and enjoy a swim in the heated outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub, or take a leisurely stroll through downtown Cottonwood. Later that evening, hop over to Clarkdale, a mere 10 minute drive, for a night of rip roaring fun at the Blazin' M Ranch Wild West Adventure. [
