Changes:
Changes are permitted to rail only bookings up to 14 days before your trip date for a modest $16 per person fee. No changes are possible within 14 days of your scheduled arrival. Packages are subject to a $32 per person change fee.
Cancellations:
Cancellations are permitted to rail hotel, and tour bookings up to 14 days before your trip date for a 25% cancellation fee ($35 per person minimum). No cancellations are possible within 14 days of your scheduled arrival in Antonito or Chama.
Handicap:
Our trains and one of our motor coaches feature wheelchair lifts. Please notify the station staff at the time of your reservation that you use a wheelchair, and reserve at least three days in advance.

The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad operates seven days a week starting May 23 and ending October 18. The itineraries vary depending on the day of week and time of year.
All trains stop for lunch at Osier, Colorado-roughly the mid-point of the railroad-where a hot meal with salad bar and homemade desserts is included in the fare.

Built 127 years ago and little changed since, the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is a 64-mile, fully operational steam railroad jointly owned by the states of Colorado and New Mexico. The railroad operates passenger trains seven days a week from Saturday, May 23 to Sunday, October 11.
