Mount Hood Railroad: Train Information


About The Train.
Passenger Info
All trains depart from and return to the Mt.Hood Railroad depot in Hood River. Paid parking facilities are available at the depot. All seats are pre-assigned and seat numbers are indicated on boarding passes. Passengers are welcome to move through the train except where otherwise posted. Children must be accompanied by an adult when moving through the train. Return times may vary. Please note you must request to be seated with another party if family or friends are joining you.

Reservations
Reservations are recommended as many trains sell out. Prepaid reservations are necessary for the Dinner Train, Brunch Train and Special Event Excursion Trains (see cancellation policy below). Please note you must request to be seated with another party. As booths on the Dinner and Brunch trains accommodate four people, parties of two or less may be combined when necessary. We gladly accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

Parking
Paid Parking is available at the depot at rate of $2.50 per car, $3.50 per RV and $5.50 per bus.

Onboard Information
The Excursion Train offers light concessions onboard. Cars are heated though not air-conditioned due to their historic nature. The Dinner and Brunch Trains are comprised of air-conditioned and heated cars. All trains are equipped with restroom facilities. Only animals that assist the physically challenged are allowed onboard the trains. Smoking is not allowed on the Trains.

Mount Hood Railroad
Beginning in early August, the weekday Excursion Trains, Saturday Dinner Trains and Sunday Brunch Trains will offer an extraordinary new level of comfort. Dome car seating is on a space available. If you book now with RailsNW you can get dome class for the price of coach (If available). so act now to upgrade from coach to dome for free and to avoid sold out dates!
