La Veta to Alamosa route includes two hours for lunch and shopping in Alamosa. Great Sand Dunes route includes two hours at Great Sand Dunes National Park. Motorcoach transportation from rail route to Park, and park admission fee, included in fare.

Alamosa's Rio Grande Scenic Railroad
The newly re-awakened Rio Grande Scenic Railroad closed a deal recently on two “new” steam locomotive. The engines will soon arrive in Alamosa joining joining the SP1744 to kick off the railroad's third season with daily service over La Veta Pass.

The daily steam train starts May 24th.
