A fleet of nine vintage steam locomotives provide the motive power to climb the steep and twisty narrow gauge tracks to Silverton.
The outdoor car
has long been a favorite of passengers of the Denver & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad as it provides unobstructed views of the mountains, river and canyons. The car features padded bench seats with backrests.
Vintage coaches
provide padded bench seats and are heated during the winter.
The Parlor
car provides passengers with comfortable lounge type seating as well as an outdoor viewing platform. Beverages, croissants and a glass of champagne is included.
